PGA
 Professional Golfers Association.
 Es handelt sich hier um Berufsverbände der professionellen Spieler und Spielerinnen. Die PGAs in den USA und in Europa unterhalten eigene Organisationen, die beispielsweise für die Verwaltung, den Aufbau und die Durchführung der Turnierserien verantwortlich sind. Parallel dazu gibt es in den USA die 'Ladies Professional Golf Association' (LPGA), in Europa die 'Women´s Professional Golf Association' (WPGA), die die Belange der Proetten wahrnehmen. Dazu gibt es in den meisten Ländern eine nationale PGA; die sich um die in dem betreffenden Land arbeitenden Pro´s kümmert.
